That's the thing about Oakland- people keep coming together
They were in the middle of singing "Young, Gifted, & Black"
"glass shatters" is actually a piece of a poem by Roberto Miguel that's written all across the Bay. It was part of a huge collaborative art experience called "The City Is Ours" that culminated at a graffiti decked, DJ pumpin warehouse party in North Berkeley. The text was painted by G.A.T.S. Again, after ya see G.A.T.S. once, you'll him everywhere.
